This has been my favorite book as a therapist. I have started talking more about how brain health and overall physical health impacts our MH. Some clients think I am crazy when I first bring it up during a session, however over time they start to really understand the connection. I hope that this is the way counseling starts to go; a more functional medicine direction!

Hi guys! First of all: I love your podcast, it’s truly the best.
I had listened to the first episode with Dr. Amen and I thought it was great (still do), but this time it seemed his energy was different (dispassionate) perhaps due to recent events in his life. I also noticed he kept avoiding a direct response to Jesse’s questions, which were very good. At the end I still enjoyed the episode and appreciate Jesse’s inputs to fill us in.
