Dr. Jason Fung (IG: @drjasonfung) is a physician, author, and researcher. His groundbreaking science-based books about diabetes and obesity, The Diabetes Code, The Obesity Code, and The Complete Guide to Fasting have sold hundreds of thousands of copies and challenged the conventional wisdom that diabetics should be treated with insulin.
Dr. Fung is also the co-founder of the Intensive Dietary Management Program, North America’s leading clinic to help people lose weight and reverse type 2 diabetes naturally with fasting. His work has been cited by CNN, Time, The Atlantic, Forbes, the Toronto Star, and many other media outlets.

I love intermittent and time restricted eating and continue to see many benefits of it in my life. Several questions: is this only beneficial for adults? My kids are grown, but I work/volunteer with a number of kids, many who are obese, and I am wondering if your protocol is safe for kids? At what age and how do you start them? I’ve always heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day for growing kids, and correlates to their ability to learn. Am wondering if Dr. Fung agrees or has a different take on this? Thanks for another great show! Appreciatively, Penny

If you only have 10 pounds to lose, does fasting work? I tried for 1 month and never adjusted. I was starving after 14 hours and started to get dizzy and got headaches. Should I keep trying?
